Rocky Ramirez disappeared in 2021, and hasn't returned. We're so blessed that he lent his amazing talent to this song, playing keys and singing an amazing lead vocal. Initially in the early stages of the writing process, this song was meant to be a love song, but the feel seemed a bit darker, so it became a song about losing someone and grappling with how to move forward. Little did we all know at the time of recording that ultimately Rocky would be singing this song for us–to remember and celebrate his legacy and spirit. 🙏🏼
